Abstract Mark Raymond Harrington (born 1882 July 6, died 1971 June 30), noted anthropologist and archaeologist, was curator of archaeology at the Southwest Museum from 1928 to 1964. This is a typed interoffice memo collected or created by Harrington, presumably while he was serving as the Southwest Museum curator. The memo regards the importance and value of collecting ethnobotanical information and specimens.

Fray Francisco Seco's Report On the Missions of New Mexico

Abstract This is a typed copy of a translation of a manuscript written by Fray Francisco Seco, circa 1732, on the Missions of New Mexico. The printed original of Seco's report is in the Huntington Free Library and Reading Room, Westchester Square, New York City. Dr. Hodge's comment on this report: "A rotten translation of Fray Francisco Seco's letter on the missions of New Mexico."

The collection also includes a posthumous biographical sketch for Father Zephyrin Engelhardt.The correspondence consists of a 1934 letter from Hodge responding to Father Pudlowski's request for a biography, which was distributed by the Southwest Museum.
