Indian Music Bibliography Collection
Scope and contents This collection consists of index cards and notes compiled approximately from 1945 to 1950 by Southwest Museum Librarian, Ella Robinson. The cards and notes includes information about published works that are about or influenced by the music of various Native American tribes. This includes academic studies and transcriptions by ethnomusicologists and works from Non-Native musicians. The titles included in this bibliography were published sometime between the late 19th to the mid-20th Century.

Abstract Ruth Clay Price was born in California around 1889. She married Wilfred Simpson and they had one daughter, Ruth De Ette Simpson, born in 1918. She is the mother of Ruth Dee Simpson, former Southwest Museum staff. The collection consists of typed poems by Price and a patrial list of the magazines and issues where her poems were published. Material in this collection were created from 1917-1930.

Scope and Contents This is a collection of bibliographic information on index cards in English, French, and German. The collection is entirely undated. Cards contain bibliographic information on anthropology and archaeology resources, mostly dealing with "early man" and prehistoric studies. The cards display different sets of handwriting, and several numeric notations with no guide. The cards run alphabetically from A-Z, though they are not always sorted within each letter grouping.
