Abstract Dat-So-La-Lee, also known as “The Queen of the Washo Basketmakers,” was born circa 1825 in an Indian village near a place which later became know as Sheridan, Nevada. Dat-So-La-Lee was expertly skilled in the Washo art of basketmaking. This collection consists of an article about Dat-So-La-Lee's baskets printed in Carson City News, 1914 April 1.
